About A Home For Life
A Home for Life was founded by Dustin Wright, a sandwich-generation parent, husband, and devoted son to aging parents. As his father aged, Dustin saw firsthand the growing support older parents needed. From managing appointments to assisting with daily tasks and home upkeep, he recognized the importance of creating a safe, accessible, and comfortable environment that allowed his father to live independently in the home he loved for over four decades.
While many at-home personal care services were available, Dustin struggled to find a trusted professional who specialized in home maintenance and safety modifications for aging in place—let alone someone with the empathy and interpersonal skills to be welcomed into his father’s home.
That challenge sparked a mission. A Home for Life was created to adapt and maintain living spaces so older adults and their families can thrive at home—safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
Today, we work with older adults, their families, and care teams to provide specialized handyman services, home repairs, and accessibility upgrades that improve quality of life. From seasonal maintenance to safety feature installation and barrier-free modifications, we take the worry out of home upkeep.
More than home maintenance experts, we are advocates for independence and aging with grace. With compassion and expertise, we help transform houses into lifelong homes—because everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and truly at home.
